The salary is negotiated every few years by the House Staff Association and Cook County. As of 2015, the salaries for the post graduate levels are as follows:

  • PGY1: $49,940.76
  • PGY2: $52,732.28
  • PGY3: $55,304.80
  • PGY4: $58,049.60
  • PGY5: $60,844.04
  • PGY6: $63,755.28
  • PGY7: $66,873.84
