The CORE Center Pharmacy serves patients across Cook County; it is conveniently located in the Medical District on Chicago’s West Side. The Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center is a clinic for the prevention, care, and research of HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, the pharmacy is tailored to meet the special needs of these patients.

The CORE Center Pharmacy fills prescriptions for patients seen by CORE Center providers only. The pharmacy staff will work with patients who do not have prescription benefits to get needed medications from the CORE Center Pharmacy or free of charge from the manufacturer. There may be a pharmacy service fee for medications provided by the CORE Center Pharmacy. The CORE Center Pharmacy acts as a pick-up site for patients who are on the Aids Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) who prefer to have their medication mailed to the CORE Center Pharmacy instead of their home addresses.

Refill Information
The fastest way to order your new prescriptions and refills is by calling the 24-hour refill line at (312) 572-4880. Prescription refills take approximately two full business days to fulfill. Please phone in refills at least two full working days in advance.
Mail Order Information
Due to the high cost of ARV medication, the CORE Center Pharmacy does not offer mail order pharmacy services at present.
