Assistance Programs

Patient Financial Services

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available on a sliding scale, and will apply to services across the CCHHS spectrum, including clinic visits, laboratory services, hospital stays, prescriptions, urgent and emergency care. Patients may be responsible for service fees, which will be explained when applying for financial assistance.

Financial counselors help patients and their family members to determine eligibility for financial assistance and other state and federal assistance programs. CCHHS staff screen, qualify and approve patients for assistance programs faster than before through a streamlined process, and partner with government assistance eligibility specialists to secure coverage.

Patients have 90 days to apply for financial assistance.  After 90 days, the bill may go to collection.
