Residents & Fellows Rotating from Other Institutions

Requirements for Rotating Residents

We welcome residents from other institutions that are interested in participating in an elective at John H.  Stroger hospital. In order to do an elective here you must have permission from the program director here as well as the program director at your institution. You must be licensed in the state of Illinois, be ACLS certified, and complete our Infection Control form/Educational modules. Please click on the packet below to view the complete file.

Infection Control Form

One of our goals is to keep you from acquiring any infectious diseases from our patients as well as preventing transmission of these diseases to our patients from those providing the care. In order to accomplish this, everyone that does a rotation at Stroger Hospital must complete an infection control form and supply the appropriate lab data prior to starting.

“Project Brotherhood’s (Woodlawn Health Center) goal is to educate black men on a variety of health topics…they are then more likely to become advocates for their personal health, as well as the health of others.”
