Dr. Terry Mason serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
He provides leadership at Provident Hospital, The John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital and the Oak Forest Health Center, in addition to the Ambulatory Care Network (16 Clinics), the Cook County Department of Public Health Department, the Cermak Infirmary, and the Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center.
Dr. Mason is responsible for overseeing the 1100 Physicians in the affiliates. He also is engaged in Regulatory, Quality and Patient Safety, Research, Employee Health, Medical Education (19 Residencies and Fellowships) and Medical Staff Leadership Development.
Separately, Dr. Mason represents to CCHHS on Channel 11′s Chicago Tonight monthly and hosts “Doctor in the House”-a local medical radio show on WVON 1690 AM.
