Manager Of Quality And Credentialing, Managed Care – Stroger Hosptial

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Quality and Credentialing works closely with the County Care Medical leadership. Is responsible for assuring QI goals and objectives are completed in accordance with best practice(s), community based standards and rules and regulations by County Care leadership. The QI Manager interfaces with medical leadership, committees, workgroups, provider representatives and Cook County staff to achieve the QI goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health administration is required. (Must provide proof at time of interview).
  • Advanced degree in public health, health administration or nursing is required. (Must provide proof at time of interview).
  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years prior experience in a clinical setting is required.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a quality improvement or quality assurance capacity with responsibility for monitoring performance and reporting trends or concerns is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a Managed Care setting, preferred.
  • Prior experience with HEDIS, preferred.
  • Formal Project Management training, preferred.
  • Licensed as an RN or APN in the state of Illinois, preferred.
