Dr. Moses Lee receives EMSC Award from Illinois Department of Public Health

Dr. Moses Lee has received the Emergency Medical Service for Children (EMSC) Award for Support and Commitment of EMSC from the Illinois Department of Public Health. He has been a member of EMSC’s Pediatric Emergency Preparedness Workgroup as a subject matter specialist in his role as the Medical Director and President of the non-profit, IMERT (Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team). And, he works with them in developing the Pediatric Disaster Response Specialty Team (a similar model to the Illinois Poison Center) for Pediatric experts for consultation in disasters and mass casualty events.

Dr. Lee is Chair of both the CCHHS External Disaster Committee and the Stroger Hospital Incident Command System Committee.
